The One in the Group “All Up in Everyone’s Shit”
I know very few people that are actual fans of gossip, unless they are the person in the group that is indeed, “all up in everyone’s shit.” For some reason, people confide in this person; they have all the cliche’s prepared for anybody’s problems. Apparently some people find comfort in cliches.
After getting their information, this person will then take advantage of the opportunity to disclose all information to the rest of the group when the other is not there. Thank you, because I certainly want and need to know everything about everyone. Oh yeah…and odds are that you’ll hear the story 2 or 3 times before it begins to “get old” for the gossip-maniac.
So why the rage on the person “all up in everyone’s shit?”
1) For some reason, they believe that what they have is quite the commodity - useless information about a friend. If we really gave a f*ck, don’t you think we’d just ask the friend?
2) The problem with being “all up in everyone’s shit” is that as a result, everyone also knows your business. Which is nothing that I want to know…at all. But you are so self-centered that you think your information is if not as important, more important than everyone else’s life.
3) Clearly you have nothing better going on in your life if you constantly have to know about everyone else’s life. So here’s a recommendation - get a life! Maybe, just maybe, once that happens, you’ll be comfortable not knowing every useless detail about your friends’ “drama.”
4) Don’t you think that after a while, when everyone hopefully figures out (unless they are douchebags as big as you are) that you have a big mouth and can’t keep anything to yourself - NOBODY will talk to you? Once you stop getting invited to anything, and you are the one doing all the inviting, maybe you’ll figure it out. But odds are, you are so into yourself that it won’t happen.
We here at GOY are all about having a good time - meaningless gossip is just a waste of our time. So to you, we say GET OVER YOURSELF!
